Terms of service
Effective November 6, 2026
These terms apply to your use of TrustStore at truststorehq.com and app.truststorehq.com. By using the service you agree to them. A firm's written agreement with us, if it has one, takes precedence over these terms.
The service
TrustStore lets firms share documents with their clients and collect documents from them through secure links. We may improve or change the service over time.
Accounts
Firm staff must keep their sign-in details confidential and are responsible for activity under their accounts. Firms are responsible for who they invite and for the recipients they send documents to. Tell us right away at teren@truststorehq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
Documents stay the property of the firm or person who uploaded them. You give us permission to store, scan, process and deliver them only as needed to provide the service. You confirm that you have the right to upload and share the documents you send.
Acceptable use
You may not use TrustStore to send unsolicited email, upload malware, share content you do not have the right to share, break the law, or attempt to access another firm's data or interfere with the service. We may suspend access that puts the service or other users at risk.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
Availability
We work to keep TrustStore available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important documents.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending use
You may stop using the service at any time. We may end access for a breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Changes
We will post changes to these terms here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
